Who are we?

Many of the devices we have are old and no longer supported by Microsoft for use with Windows 11. Windows 10 is rapidly approaching End-of-Support and security updates will no longer be available. We'd very much like for these devices not to end up in landfill and for that they need to stay useful.
Linux Mint is a lightweight, fully featured and easy to use distribution of Linux that will feel familiar for Windows users, runs very well on older hardware, and will continue to get support for many years. It's also chock-full of lots of excellent free software, and blissfully free of ads, tracking, and telemetry.  You can read more at PCMag here.
We sometimes choose to install Elementary OS on some higher spec systems. Elementary is a beautiful and easy to use system that focuses on being a thoughtful, capable, and ethical replacement for Windows.

Where possible, our prices are set at about half the going rate for the same equipment on eBay. This isn't about profit - you need a bargain and the Cancer Council needs a donation. Please rest assured that although the items are cheap, all care has been taken to clean, sanitise, test, and repair them. Some are well loved, with marks and scratches that do not affect their use, and that condition is reflected in the price.
